Outlier Distilling Company
Outlier Rum – A Manx Hoolie Hits Sweden
We're proud to welcome and partner with Outlier Distilling Company as exhibitors at this year’s Stockholm Rum Fest, marking their exciting debut in the Swedish market.
Based on the rugged Isle of Man, Outlier is an independent craft distillery known for bold, unfiltered rums that reflect the wild spirit of their island home. On May 14th, three of their standout rums—the vibrant Hoolie Manx White Rum, the spiced sensation Twisted Arm, and the punchy Hurricane Overproof—which we will officially launch at Systembolaget, available to Swedish consumers for the very first time.
Named after a fierce island wind, “Hoolie” is a local Manx word that perfectly captures the energy and raw character of Outlier’s signature white rum. Just like the wind, it’s wild, untamed, and impossible to ignore.
But you won’t have to wait to experience them.
At Stockholm Rum Fest, you’ll have the chance to meet the makers, taste the range, and learn the stories behind one of the most talked-about new names in rum. Outlier co-founder and head distiller Ian Warborn-Jones will also host an exclusive masterclass and tasting session, sharing insights, surprises, and the journey behind bringing Manx rum to the world.

Sweden Rum Fest Awards 2025
Introducing the First-Ever Rum Fest Awards at Stockholm Rum Fest 2025!
For the very first time, we’re raising the bar—literally. The Rum Fest Awards are here to celebrate excellence in rum, and 2025 marks the thrilling launch of this new tradition. With 51 exceptional rums competing across 5 distinct categories, each entry was blind-tasted and meticulously judged by a panel of true experts: Duane Sheppard and his bar manager Dominic from Cane Rum Society, Rom Robban of Rum Profile, and renowned rum and chocolate connoisseur Duane Dove.
